As a member of the Strategy & Analytics team, the Sr. Business Quantitative Analyst will be responsible for statistical modeling, machine learning, data analysis and reporting and will support ticketing, stadium operations, marketing & fan development, corporate partnerships, media and other stakeholders as needed. This role will exhibit a strong understanding of business strategy and objectives, collaborate effectively with departments, and utilize data to identify opportunities and solve problems. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities• Provide quantitative analysis for multiple business areas including ticketing, marketing, media, sales, and operations. • Propose and build statistical models and utilize machine learning; projects include revenue forecasting, product development, ticket pricing, fan segmentation, and customer retention & acquisition.• Synthesize insights to deliver creative, new thinking and recommendations. • Work with internal stakeholders to identify data & analytics needs; propose, develop and execute solutions to meet needs.• Package and communicate analytical findings (trends, etc.) and develop presentations as needed.
Required Education and/or experienceGraduate degree in data science, business analytics, statistics or related and appropriate field and 3-5 years’ experience in related field/position. Requisite Abilities and/or skills• Proficiency in R and/or Python • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel• Knowledge of relational databases and experience using SQL• Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI a plus
