In this era of big data and abundant computing power, more are looking into data-driven models to find winning strategies. Our sports analytics project is a multi-disciplinary research work of applying formal methods, machine learning, and compute vision to computational sports analytics. We are looking for internship candidates who will learn and apply the above mentioned techniques to build probabilistic game models by mining various data sources (including text and videos). Candidates with good performance will be recommended to apply for a NUS PhD research scholarship.
