The Marketing Analyst, Business Intelligence will focus on supporting initiatives within the Business Intelligence department by analyzing data relevant to the marketing strategy and brand of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This role is responsible for building, implementing, maintaining, and refining prescriptive and predictive analysis to be used to drive marketing, brand, and communication strategy. Additionally, the Marketing Analyst, Business Intelligence will help facilitate vendor conversations around important marketing-related initiatives and work closely with marketing and communication leadership to develop and execute marketing strategy analyze brand health, and maximize engagement across all platforms.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in statistics, data science, business analytics, marketing analytics, engineering, applied math, physics, quantitative social sciences, computer science or similar field. Experience with relational database systems and some knowledge of SQL. Proficient with one or more programming languages, preferably Python or R. Proficient at gathering, transforming, and analyzing large complex datasets.
