If that piqued your interest, the DICK’S Sporting Goods (DSG) Executive Development Program (EDP) might be for you. Join a cohort of MBA students from some of the top business schools in the world to work on pressing business issues that are at the top of mind to the Executive Leadership Team. Throughout the EDP, you will have multiple mentors from the organization, extensive exposure to various senior executive and C-suite leaders, and the chance to attend networking opportunities with decision makers and influencers in the industry. You’ll enjoy all that Pittsburgh has to offer by participating in exclusive EDP-only social and cultural events. This program is not a direct track into any one position. The program is designed to allow you to build key relationships across our business and develop insights which will prepare you for future leadership positions, all while working on both high-visibility and high-priority projects or initiatives. Your career path will be determined by the work you do, the connections you make, and your passions and interest. We will challenge and develop you into a future leader for DICK’S Sporting Goods. We will advocate on your behalf throughout your career. Once hired, you will spend 13-24 months in a rotational leadership program designed specifically for top-tier MBA talent. You will work side-by-side with and learn from experts in strategy & innovation, technology, retail, and in the sporting goods industry. You will make an impact right away! Following a robust and exciting onboarding experience, you will enter the first of your rotations in the most critical parts of our business. Rotations include: 1) Stores/Store Operations, where you’ll have the chance to explore the athlete and teammate experience and work on a project that could impact the entire DSG chain 2) Global Merchandising Organization, where you will work under the direction of both our merchant leaders with some of the top brands in sport 3) Strategy & Innovation, where you will take ownership of high-visibility cross-functional projects as an internal consultant to DICK’S business functions. During the Strategy rotation, you will work both independently and with peers to lead high-priority strategic projects, with report out to the Sr. Leadership Team. Once establishing a strong knowledge of DSG’s core business, you will have the opportunity to either join the business or take on a flex rotation to deep dive into another strategic function (i.e. technology, eCommerce, marketing, etc.). Opportunities to interview for Associate Chief of Staff to a C-suite Executives are possible. By being a part of the program, DSG will provide you with the following: • Ownership + Deliver of Projects – You will work on high visibility projects and key initiatives • Leadership Development – We will prepare you to be a leader through training and experiences, both intentional and organic • Career Exploration – You will work and network across various functions as well as new leaders of the company • Career Long Support – You will regularly meet with our team of career coaches to ensure you will always know “where you stand”, including but not limited to an Executive Mentor • Competitive Compensation – Includes annual salary over 150k, sign-on and annual equity opportunities, sign-on bonus, full relocation, merit and performance bonus eligibility. Not to mention free parking, retail discounts, supplemented health club membership and on-site child care, etc. Past analysis and work performed by MBA hires at DSG: • Formulate long-term strategic forecasts for DSG by leveraging internal and external market data to understand the sales opportunities and growth • Build strategy to retain new customers earned during the COVID-19 pandemic • Develop new methods to deliver quality service and delivery to our athletes • Strategic analyses of the female customer, the footwear customer/sneakerhead, etc. • Recommendations for new and modified brick and mortar and eCommerce concepts that were put into action

Desired Qualifications

• A documented history of academic distinction, including earning your MBA by start date. Will consider recent grads and "young alumni" • 3-5 years of previous work experience in a dynamic environment (consulting, strategy, finance, brand management, retail, etc.) • Executive Presence o Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the business from top to bottom o Composure with senior leadership team in one-on-one conversations o Experience influencing and presenting to senior leaders • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, synthesize recommendations, and present your thoughts and next steps • Passion for strategy, retail, sports and/or innovation • Comfort working in an evolving, forward-thinking environment
