Position Description

Who is Eventellect? Eventellect is the go-to partner for data-conscious sports and entertainment executives seeking to optimize ticket yield, revenue, and brand equity. We manage ticket inventory in real time across multiple online sales channels via our proprietary software platform, market trend analysis, and pricing algorithms. We create value for our various partners through our custom ticket management solutions. What are we looking for? We are actively expanding our in-house data science capabilities and are looking for a Data Science Project Manager. The perfect candidate will have experience acting as a project manager for data-driven teams. If you want to be a dedicated member of a highly collaborative team and develop industry-leading data science capabilities, then look no further! What would you do? • Maintain a project plan for the data science team. • Review and test code that is submitted by data science team members. • Work with software and data science team members to shepherd code into production. • Write code documentation to assist company team members outside of data science to interface with data science products. • Train users across the company on how to use data science products in order to drive value.

Desired Qualifications

What do you bring? • Proven experience work as a project manager. • Experience collaborating with professional software development teams. • Some understanding of statistical and machine learning principles. • Creative problem solver with a high focus on speed-to-value. • Flexible and willing to accept changes in priorities as necessary What is required to succeed? • Experience with project management software. • Good understanding of software best practices. • Excellent communication skills.
