The Aerosciences Evaluation and Test Capabilities (AETC) Portfolio Office is at the forefront of digital transformation within NASA and is looking to improve and add to the team by bringing in diverse perspectives and skillsets within the Data & Analytics community. AETC executes strategic efforts to preserve and enhance research and test capabilities for NASA’s world-class portfolio of national wind tunnel facilities. AETC assets include capabilities in the subsonic, transonic, supersonic, hypersonic speed regimes and propulsion test facilities at the Ames, Glenn, and Langley Research Centers. The Data & Analytics Intern will assist in various digital transformation initiatives within AETC. The opportunity will include leveraging existing tools such as python and cloud computing in addition to NASA agency specific frameworks to accelerate the data science capabilities within the organization. The intern will also help inform how data literacy is improved within the organization.Note: This position is available as remote.
Experience with python, cloud computing or high performance computing is desired.
