Position Description

We’re looking for a Commercial leader of FanDuel’s Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) business vertical. DFS was the first business under the FanDuel brand and attracts over one million customers annually. The scope of this role is wide, with an expectation for the Commercial Director to set the long-term strategy while also ensuring the day-to-day health of the DFS business. This role will combine P&L management with the need to work closely with support organizations such as Marketing and Product to achieve group-wide outcomes. The Commercial Director is expected to be either responsible for, or collaborating on, all key issues which impact the DFS business. *Direct the organization to ensure the attainment of financial and operational goals within the business unit in support of the company's overall financial and strategic objectives *Establish reliable budgets, as well as short and long-term objectives and key results for monitoring progress and measuring success *Oversee the Commercial team to: - Manage the customer ecosystem and our competitive positioning to maximize growth - Advise on our generosity and rewards investments *Work cross-functionally with Product & Engineering to align on investment levels, product roadmap, and delivery of all key product innovations or iterations *Work cross-functionally with marketing to deliver economical acquisition, and invest appropriately in CRM and VIP teams, all while protecting and growing our brand *Work with data teams to build suitable management reporting, and to ensure we have a toolkit that facilitates high-quality business decisions *Regularly and succinctly communicate business performance, opportunities, and risks to FanDuel Group executives and the board, where required *Make impactful contributions to business initiatives across FanDuel Group and Flutter Brands *Implement and oversee a series of processes to ensure good corporate governance, with appropriate consideration given to our commitment to be a responsible operator *Select, evaluate, and develop personnel to ensure we retain the best talent possible

Desired Qualifications

*6+ years of roles with increasing responsibility and complexity in a technology company, preferably in gaming industry *3+ years of managerial experience *Experience managing multi-tiered team *Bachelor’s degree required, business or technical degree preferred *Significant experience in cross-functional collaboration within large organizations *Demonstrable history of operating in organizations with rapidly evolving scope and complexity *Familiarity with managing budgets and forecasts *Ability to work non-traditional business hours across teams and time zones
