Position Description

SUMMARY The Client Services Senior Associate is responsible for execution of client-facing deliverables and supporting the ongoing enhancements of internal infrastructure. Through a strong knowledge of KAGR technologies, including the client portal, deliverables and data model, the Client Services Senior Associate will lead scrum team of data engineers and business analysts and work collaboratively with client lead and other internal constituents to drive results, achieve business impact, and inform product roadmap. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Product Ownership Responsible for the on-time, at high-quality delivery and ongoing availability of the KAGR platform product Provide account management with workstream scoping, project plans and timelines, and resource needs Leverage agile framework and lead scrum team in execution of project plans Lead sprint ceremonies, including scrum, refinement, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives Manage volume of planned work and completed work (velocity) Provide functional guidance to team members Gather feedback via retrospectives and implement learnings to continue to optimize processes/capacity Manage the development backlog including clearly communicating level of effort, downstream dependencies, opportunity costs and internal/external impact to key stakeholders; prioritize the backlog to best achieve sprint goals Interlock with Account Management on client communication, incoming requests, and priorities Interlock with Development Leadership on resourcing, sprint strategy, and platform solutioning Proactively proposes product enhancements/infrastructure enhancements to drive business impact for clients or increased efficiency Emphasis on training & development for BA & Dev resources Operations Drive development of operational framework to improve efficiency, create consistency across scrum teams, and reduce costs Utilize Jira data to improve visibility into capacity and velocity and improve planning Leverage best practices to refine procedures across the organization Standardize documentation and emphasize critical importance of documenting processes Support the onboarding and ongoing development of product owners and business analysts Business Analysis Demonstrate strong understanding of data model; leverage SQL to query database to assess design implication, conduct preliminary discovery or support QA Evaluate, identify and develop functional business requirements and specifications for clients. Translate business requirements into well-written use cases and product requirements Strategic Application of Data Serve as a client portal subject matter expert to ensure the portal is optimized for customer success Provide advice and best practices to account manager to enable clients to maximize benefits of KAGR relationship Approach complex and ambiguous problems with a clarity; outlining questions seeking to answer and hypotheses to test Synthesize findings, develop innovative solutions, and make strategic recommendations to enable clients to leverage and action those insights Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and lead\contribute to communications with client when applicable KAGR Product Development Work cross-departmentally to contribute to KAGR’s product roadmap Identify opportunities for new dashboards, data integrations or services to add value for clients Translate client needs into use cases and business requirements for dashboard development Special projects and assignments as business dictates Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Desired Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidate must have 5-7 years of business analyst experience in a technology setting and a degree in computer science, information systems or related field Proven track record in client services and technology delivery, as well as ability to build cross-functional relationships between engineering, business intelligence, data science, and business stakeholders Experience using data to drive operational enhancements. Capable of implementing new procedures and driving adoption with team SQL experience required. Preferred: Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced PowerPoint and Excel. Project management software such as JIRA/Confluence Knowledge of relational database and design structure concepts Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills Must be team-oriented and coachable
