Overview

The Startup Competition and Trade Show provides an opportunity for selected startups and small companies to showcase their innovations in the fields of sports-related technologies, products, and services. Those that are selected by the SSAC committee will have the opportunity to present their products and/or services to potential customers, business partners, investors, and employees. This year Microsoft for Startups will be sponsoring the event, with the winner of competition receiving a substantial prize.

This year, the competition will be held in-person and each finalist will be able to pitch to a panel of judges at the conference. The judges will include an executive from Microsoft for Startups, and professionals in investing and academia.

Past participants include successful organizations such as ShotTracker, Noah Basketball, Nex Team, and many others that have leveraged their exposure to industry thought-leaders to successfully raise larger funding rounds.

The application can be found here. We will be accepting applications until February 11th.
