Willie Harrison

Dr. Willie K. Harrison graduated with his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2007 from Utah State University. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 2012 with his Ph.D. research focusing on physical-layer security and error-control coding. In 2012, Dr. Harrison joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) as an Assistant Professor. He has held positions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Micron Technology, Inc., and is the program director of a research abroad program in Coimbra, Portugal funded by the US National Science Foundation. His research interests include security engineering, cryptography, digital telecommunications, signal processing, and statistical sports analytics.
