Willie Harrison

Dr. Willie K. Harrison graduated with his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University in 2007, and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. His Ph.D. research focused on physical-layer security and error-control coding. From 2012 to 2017, Dr. Harrison was an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In 2017 he joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Brigham Young University, where he is currently an Assistant Professor.  He has held positions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Micron Technology, Inc. His research interests include security engineering, information theory, cryptography, digital telecommunications, signal processing, and sports analytics.
