As Head of Sports & Entertainment Marketing for JP Morgan Chase (“JPMC”), Steve leads a team responsible for the negotiation and activation around the Global JPMC sponsorship portfolio, including Chase Field (home of the AZ Diamondbacks), the US Open Grand Slam Tennis Tournament, J.P. Morgan Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) Sailing Team, Lord’s Cricket Ground, with significant focus on the Madison Square Garden Properties (NY Knicks, NY Rangers, Radio City Music Hall, Chicago Theater, Los Angeles Forum, etc.)
Prior to joining JPMC, Steve was Vice President of Strategy and New Business Development for the National Football League, where he was charged with the management and execution of new product / service opportunities for the League and its Clubs.
He also served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of HBO’s Digital Distribution and Business Development Team, where he oversaw digital media product development and distribution efforts for the HBO and Cinemax brands, along with operational responsibility for their HBO Mobile entertainment service.
In addition to his work at JPMC, he is an active board member of New York Road Runners (“NYRR”), a non-profit organization that produces more than 100 sports events each year – including the famed New York City Marathon – which attract more than 300,000 runners internationally. In addition, NYRR provides youth programs that motivate more than 100,000 young people in communities in New York City, across the United States, and around the world.
Steve holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a BA in Business Administration (concentration in Finance) from Morehouse College (Atlanta, GA.)
