Richard Paulsen is a PhD Candidate in Applied Economics at Northeastern University and an Adjunct Instructor of Economics at Bentley University. He is currently on the job market, defending his dissertation this spring and graduating in May. His research interests are in sports economics, labor economics, the economics of education, and health economics. Within sports economics his current work focuses on contract design and incentives for player performance in Major League Baseball. He has published research in Evaluation and Program Planning and Atlantic Economic Journal.
