Rajiv is CEO of Second Spectrum, a startup revolutionizing sports through intelligence, pushing the boundaries of deep technology to create new forms of interaction, immersion and personalization. Previously, he served as a Research Assistant Professor in Computer Science at USC and a Project Leader at the Information Sciences Institute at USC.
Rajiv has received numerous awards and written over 100 publications in artificial intelligence and control theory. In 2014, Rajiv won the USC Viterbi School of Engineering Use-Inspired Research Award. He and Spectrum COO Yu-Han Chang are the only two-time winners of the SSAC Best Research Paper.
Rajiv received a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His work spans data analytics, data visualization, real-time interaction, spatiotemporal pattern recognition, artificial intelligence, decision theory and game theory.
