PhD student – University of California San Diego
Matthew Goldman is an aspiring economist studying for his PhD at the University of California San Diego. While there, he is building a research agenda centered around econometric and game theory. He is a lifelong basketball junkie who indulges his passion both through intense competition on the hardwood and rigorous analysis in the lab. Through his research, he hopes to learn about basketball by the application of econometric techniques and about economics through the ready observation of basketball players attempting to solve traditional economic problems.
