Matt Wolf currently serves as a Vice President in the National Basketball Association’s Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) department, a group responsible for growing NBA, WNBA, and NBA Development League team profitability through strategic consulting on all aspects of business operations, including marketing and digital, ticket sales, sponsorship development, suite sales and customer retention. Wolf helps oversee the department’s Strategy & Analytics team and also acts as the league’s Account Manager for the Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers.
Prior to joining TMBO, Wolf worked as a member of the NBA’s Strategic Development department, working on league-level strategic initiatives including collective bargaining, media rights negotiations and international expansion planning. Before joining the NBA, he spent three years in The Walt Disney Company’s Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Technology group. Wolf holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University, where he was a member of the varsity Sprint (Lightweight) Football team. He is a native of Long Island, New York and currently resides in Long Island City with his wife, Erica.
