Marcos is responsible for the corporate coordination of global sports mega-projects for AECOM. He was recently AECOM’s Project Director for the $1.2 billion USD redevelopment of Lincoln Center in New York, the World’s largest and most complex performing arts center. Before joining AECOM in 2005 he was the Director of Venue Planning for the New York City 2012 Olympic Bid. Under that capacity Marcos was part of the IOC and USOC Observer programs for Athens 2004, and was in charge of the team that developed a $3 billion USD capital plan including the Olympic Stadium, Olympic Village, Media and Broadcast Centers, all competition and training venues, Hospitality, and Transportation infrastructure plan. Marcos Studied engineering in Spain, is a graduate of Stanford University’s Urban Studies Program, and has a Masters of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
