Kevin Palmer is a Curling writer, analyst and podcaster.  He received the Scotty Harper Award for Canadian Curling writing in 2013 and is author of End Game: An Olympic Viewer’s Guide to Curling.  He frequently contributes to The Curling News, provides analysis on his site CurlWithMath.ca and hosts the Curling Legends Podcast which shares in depth interviews with players and storytellers from the 1940s to the modern era.  Kevin consults with CurlingZone Analytics, providing scouting analysis and creation of new analytic approaches to the sport.  Kevin developed the original Win Probability charts for Curling in 2005 and in 2014 wrote a research paper measuring the weighted value of each scoring outcome and the relative benefit of hammer (last shot) with three ends remaining.
