Senior Vice President of Consulting, Wasserman Media Group
John Harper joined Wasserman in 2010 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Consulting. Harper also leads the Insights group, which delivers industry, competitive, and consumer insights to drive strategic planning across client teams, and provides analysis surrounding partnership portfolios, program measurement, and negotiation strategy. Harper and his team currently support all of Wasserman’s corporate clients and project efforts within consulting, as well as insights needs across divisions.
Previously, Harper was at the Boston Consulting Group in Los Angeles, where he led strategic marketing and organizational efforts within the consumer packaged goods and media and entertainment sectors. Prior to joining BCG, Harper held several roles at Nike in Canada, within Brand Strategy, Retail Development, and Sports Marketing. During his tenure, Harper was responsible for leading integrated marketing initiatives within Basketball and Running, account planning for Foot Locker, and created Nike Canada’s first national sports marketing plan for Basketball.
Harper holds an Honors Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated as an Ivey Scholar. He also earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School where he served as Co-President of the Business of Sports Association.
Harper currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Megan, and their three children Jake, Tyler, and Emerson.
