Jianeng Xu

Jianeng Xu is a second-year master student in the Department of Statistics, University of Chicago. He is currently working as a research assistant for Professor Nicholas Polson at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His master thesis focus on the estimation of long-range dependence in climate data. His thesis advisor is Professor Peter McCullagh. Jianeng was born and raised in Hangzhou, China. In 2015, he received a B.S. in Statistics from Zhejiang University, China.
