Christopher Berry is the William and Alicia Townsend Friedman Professor at The University of Chicago, Harris School of Public Policy. He is the academic director of the Center for Municipal Finance, faculty director of the Master of Science Program in Computational Analysis and Public Policy, and a member of the University of Chicago’s Committee on Quantitative Research Methods. His research interests include leadership, metropolitan governance, the politics of public finance, and intergovernmental fiscal relations. Berry is author of the award-winning book, Imperfect Union (Cambridge UP, 2010) and many other scholarly publications.
