Bill Aulet is Managing Director, Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship and Senior Lecturer, MIT Sloan School of Management. Aulet has over 25 years of business success first at IBM then as a serial entrepreneur. He has directly created hundreds of millions of dollars in shareholder value in his companies. The past five years he has been responsible for leading the development of entrepreneurship education across MIT. He teaches multiple foundational classes at both the introductory and advanced levels. To improve the effectiveness of these classes, he also created and now oversees many complementary co-curricular activities including the MIT Global Founders Skills Accelerator (GFSA), Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (REAP), Beehive Cooperative, Corporate Innovators Program and the MIT Clean Energy Prize. His work has been recognized with numerous awards including in 2013, the Monosson Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship Mentoring at MIT and 50 on Fire in Boston. His first book Disciplined Entrepreneurship was released in August 2013 and has become an international best seller. He speaks, writes and continues to expand his knowledge globally on the topic of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. Aulet has degrees from Harvard (engineering) and MIT (management).
