Manager of Football Administration – Philadelphia Eagles
As Manager of Football Administration, Adam Katz plays a key role in player contract negotiation and salary cap management for the Eagles, working closely with President Joe Banner and General Manager Howie Roseman. Katz also oversees the Eagles’ compliance with the NFL collective bargaining agreement and NFL player personnel rules, in addition to directing many of the club’s analytical research projects related to cap strategy, player costs, and other player personnel matters.
Prior to his current role, Katz spent two seasons as the Eagles’ Salary Cap Analyst. He originally joined the club as a Football Administration intern in early 2007.
Before joining the Eagles, Katz was an Analyst at Charles River Associates, a litigation consulting firm, where he worked on expert witness reports regarding damages for use in corporate litigation. Katz has also previously worked with several sports agents, including Leigh Steinberg and Ryan Tollner, on player contract negotiations and marketing.
Born in Newton, MA, Katz received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, prior to attending UCLA Law School. He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
