Kevin Demoff Kevin enters his second season as Senior Assistant and sixth season in professional football.

Demoff, who served as a consultant with the Buccaneers in 2005, assists General Manager Bruce Allen in contract negotiations, salary cap management, scouting, strategic planning and salary cap forecasting.

From 2001-04, Demoff served as the Director of Football Operations for the Arena Football League’s Los Angeles Avengers. In his last three seasons with the Avengers, the team finished 28-18, third-best in the AFL, including three consecutive playoff appearances.

Demoff graduated with a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2006. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from Dartmouth in 1999.

From 1999-03, Demoff served as an editorial consultant on The NFL Show on Fox Sports Net, helping write and edit show copy and provide detailed research for talent. From 1999-00, he was part of a team at Broadband Sports that helped design and develop the Dallas Cowboys’ new Web site. He also negotiated deals with NFL teams to build new websites for NFL teams.

He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Tampa.


Trip MacCracken is in his ninth season with the Cleveland Browns. He works with player contract negotiations and salary cap management, and helps coordinate the Browns’ compliance with the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.

MacCracken attended Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, where he played football for two seasons and baseball for one season before taking part in the school’s Semester in Washington program during the fall of 1994. While in Washington, he interned at the White House and assisted the Redskins on game days. MacCracken then worked several summer internships with the Redskins, which led to an internship during the summer of 1998 at NFL Management Council.

A lifelong Browns fan, MacCracken graduated from Hawken School in 1992, where he captained the football and baseball teams. MacCracken graduated Cum Laude from Hamilton College in 1996 and graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1999. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

MacCracken, 33, is single and lives in Hudson, Ohio.


Samir Suleiman (Soohl-E-mun) has worked with President of Football Operations/GM Jay Zygmunt in overseeing all aspects of football operations including salary cap/roster management, player contract negotiations, trades, pro personnel and player procurement since 2000. Prior to joining the Rams, Samir (Suh-mear) performed similar duties as Manager of Contract Information for the Jacksonville Jaguars during their back-to-back (1998-1999) AFC Central Division Championship seasons.

Samir began his career in 1997 with the NFL Management Council for which he monitored the league-wide Salary Cap and analyzed player contracts. Suleiman has been a member of the NFL Management Council Club Services Committee, which oversees technology development and all MC/Club interaction, since 2001.

Born in Washington, D.C., Samir was a four-sport letterman in high school including an All-Conference captain in football and basketball and the Athlete of the Year at Randolph-Macon Academy. He earned a B.S. degree in Sport Management from James Madison University (VA) where he played wide receiver on the 1994 Lambert Cup Championship I-AA football team. In 2003, Suleiman was named an Outstanding Alumnus of the University. He also played semi-pro football for the four-time National Champion Brooklyn (NY) Mariners that won the 1997 Garden State Football League Championship. Samir is single and enjoys traveling, reading autobiographies and hunting worldwide with his father. He has participated in shooting tournaments to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House.

Aaron Schatz is the creator of FootballOutsiders.com and the lead writer of the Pro Football Prospectus book series. This past season, he was a regular contributor to ESPN.com, AOL Sports, and FOXSports.com, as well as ESPN the Magazine. He has also written for The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The New Republic Online, and Slate.com, and has done custom research for a number of NFL teams.

Before creating FootballOutsiders.com, he was a radio disc jockey and spent three years tracking search trends online as the writer and producer of the Internet column "The Lycos 50." He has a BA in Economics from Brown University and lives in Framingham, Massachusetts with his wife Kathryn and daughter Mirinae.
