MIT SSAC Job Board and Resume Book Terms of Service

The MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference offers the job posting platform and resume database only and makes no recommendations or endorsements regarding potential employers, employees, or job postings. Conference organizers are not in a position to review the merits of potential employers, employees, or job postings. All hiring, scheduling, and compensation for job postings are handled directly between the employer and candidate.

Eligibility to access the job board as a potential employer or employee lasts from the time of ticket purchase for that year’s conference until tickets for the following year’s conference go on sale (usually around October, six months before the conference). For the 2017 conference, access starts from the time the job board is launched in November 2016 until tickets go on sale for the 2018 conference.

For Candidates:

By submitting your resume to the 2017 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference resume database (the “Database“), the organizers of the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference (the “Organizers“) and certain employers (the “Participating Employers“) will have access to information about you and your interest in employment opportunities.

You may choose to limit the amount of personal information in your resume, and the Organizers encourage you to do so. Personal information includes your name, address, telephone number, and/or email address (“Personal Information“). We suggest that applicants include name and email addresses only. For the avoidance of doubt, the Organizers will not use your Personal Information, as submitted in a resume, for any purpose other than as stated herein, but the Organizers cannot guarantee that third party users of the Database (including the Participating Employers) will not use your Personal Information for other purposes, such as online marketing.

You may request removal from the Database at any time, but the Organizers cannot guarantee that such removal will result in removal of your Personal Information from the databases and records of Participating Employers.
