Baseball analytics has come a long way since Bill James pioneered the field of sabermetrics almost three decades ago. The most recent leap forward has been the use and public availability of Statcast data, which provided teams with an unprecedented amount of information to instantaneously track players and evaluate performance. Now, with three years of Statcast data available, how has basketball analytics changed? This panel will examine how the adoption of advanced analytics in baseball permeates every level of the organization, from the front office to the dugout, affecting how decisions are made on the field.
