Twelve years ago, Jack McCallum spent the season with the Mike D’Antoni-coached Phoenix Suns and authored Seven Seconds or Less, which documented the early stages of a revolution in basketball. Since then, pace-and-space, high-octane three-point shooting, small ball, and measuring defensive impact have gone from the periphery to the center of modern basketball strategy. This panel brings together some of the key figures in the sport’s transformation on and off the court for a look at how basketball reached this point and how it will continue to evolve.
