Box Score Rebooted
Bill James changed the game of baseball with his ground-breaking introduction of advanced statistical analysis. But can more still be done? And why hasn’t the box score evolved to incorporate these widely accepted stats? These panelists will discuss the inherent flaws in modern day sports statistics, the likelihood that leagues will change the official stats that the public consumes, and a proposal for how to fix the problem. New, relevant statistics will be discussed and the panel will work towards a consensus on those that are most important. Will these trailblazers change the game yet again?
